Costa Mesa, CA (November 12, 2009): With a tidy collection of the US of A's finest talent congregating for the pinnacle of the 2009 Rip Curl GromSearch fueled by H20 Overdrive this Saturday, November 14, at the wave-saturated shores of Salt Creek, Dana Point; the world will be able to take witness this spectacle through the live webcast on ripcurl.com.

$2500 prize purse, all expenses-paid sojourns to Australia, and the irreplaceable sentiment of bragging rights and street cred are for the taking this weekend, with a vast confirmation of paparazzi-level media. Super talents such as Koa Smith, Kanoa Igarashi, Jacob Halstead, and more will be be prepared for valiant battle.

This one-day event will kick off at 7:30 am tack sharp, with the live webcast commencing simultaneously. Immediately after the finals, an after-awards catered party and slideshow will light up Rip Curl Surf Center San Clemente with tunes compliments of DJ Phishphonics.
